Digital: I am currently taking part in the long process of converting my old blog ([link]) into a fully fledged domain, online portfolio and store (requiring a LOT of formatting, cleaning and general organizing. Meanwhile, I am also working on brand new prints and unique artwork for my upcoming convention appearances this year.

This piece was inspired by one of my favorite films ever, Labyrinth. I always loved the masquerade ball scene especially the design of Sarah's head dress and thought it would go very nicely in an art nouveau setting.

Colors to follow. Just wanted to clean up the line art with some grey scale shading before adding it.

Please do not reproduce any artwork from my gallery without my prior permission. If you would like to purchase any of the originals from my gallery please first check the STATUS of the item before contacting me via my website [link]

I must say that I prefer this more than the colored version. Even if the colors seem rather cold, in my opinion, the mood is still very intimate and warm because of the composition and the pose of the two. The contrasts between whites, blacks and grays accent the details very nicely (especially those in the woman's hair) so for the future drawings - don't be afraid of the details, you do them very well! :D the sign in the corner makes the composition way less generic and dull while taking the unused space, many do not succeed while trying. Congrats!

Thank you ever so much for your constructive criticism. I'm so glad you like this version. I always like having black & white versions of my inks with a little grey scale highlights as I hate the idea of losing the details, so I'm really glad you like them :)
