I am a Freelance Illustrator, Writer and Actress based in S. Wales, UK. After receiving a BA Hons in English Literature from Royal Holloway University of London I spent a year at The Kubert School, New Jersey where I studied comic and narrative art and illustration.

I now work on freelance illustration projects including: book illustration, comic book art and design, tee shirt design, posters, corporate illustration and logo design, theatrical set and costume design and personal commissions.

I also work as an editor and writer for www.ChaosHour.com as a video game, film and comic book reviewer. I am currently working on my debut novel Trial By Fire, the first in my Children of Gods Trilogy.

[EDIT 18/05/2013] Well guys, thank you for all of your positive responses. I have now filled 5 of my 10 slots and have already started work on the commissions I have. Bristol Comic Expo went very well last week and I am now preparing myself for London MCM next week. Hi everyone!

Things are pretty busy here right now, what with conventions, commissions and work galore, but I have some spare time to put up some SKETCH CARD COMMISSIONS! 

   

Sketch cards or ACEOs are probably my most popular convention item. For only £5 GBP (Great British Pounds) you get a personalized 2.5" x 3.5" sketch card of your favourite character or OC. 

The card is fully inked and coloured with waterproof ink and alcohol based Copic Markers, making it both vibrant and durable. The card is also presented in a clear plastic packet in order to keep it safe. To view a selection of my previous sketch cards, please visit my Sketch Card gallery.

   

Postage and Packaging (P&P) is FREE WITHIN THE UK, however, if you wish for it to be delivered outside the UK please allow an extra £5 for P&P to your location.

As I am busy with conventions at the moment, I am only opening up 10 commission slots for now. Once all 10 slots have been filled, commissions will be closed until all of the sketch cards are complete. If you would like to commission a Sketch Card from me, please note me via DA.

Terms & Conditions: 
  • Payment is through PayPal ONLY.
  • Please be sure you are able/willing to pay £5 GBP on point of noting me with your commission request. As I only accept payment through PayPal, the exchange rate for your currency is set by PayPal at point of purchase.
  • The commission will not be started until full payment has been received. If, for any reason, the artist is unable to complete your commission, a full refund will be awarded. 
  • You will be notified when your sketch card has been finished and sent a High Res JPG of the image. Feel free to post this on your personal websites with the proviso that the watermark is not removed and credit is given to the artist, Anastasia Catris.
  • You will be mailed an un-watermarked, hard copy card to your address upon completion of the card. You will be notified by e-mail/note when the card is posted.
  • If you are requesting an OC sketch, please send any reference links, photos or valuable information regarding your character to mail@anastasiacatris.com. Please be aware I don't need your character's full back story, just essential details to their appearance/character aspects that might be visual (i.e. are they a happy/angry/sad character).
  • While all subject matter is considered, please be aware that the artist reserves the right to refuse a subject based on its content, e.g. if they find it offensive to themselves or others.

While I have been a Deviant for 4 years and a professional artist for 3 years, I am still only starting out in the land of social media - a very useful tool for up-and-coming artists. Social Media figures; such as blog hits, favorites, subscriptions, Facebook 'likes' and Twitter followers (not to mention DA +watchers, favorites and page-views) are valuable tools for publishers, authors, convention promoters and general people
